The Timeless Havana Nights Wedding at The Ebell of Long Beach

A Sugarplum & Co. Wedding

Get ready to be wowed by this breathtaking Havana Nights themed wedding. The venue at the Ebell of Long Beach is known for details in every single corner. It is a dream Southern California venue that is admired for it’s historic architecture and superior service. Our couple, Leanne and Michael, took notice and accentuated the beauty of the venue with their timeless theme.

This wedding was so much more than a party – it was an unforgettable and romantic experience for guests. Using a warm color palette and clean aesthetic, Leanne and Michael had an unforgettable day with their loved ones.

Getting Ready

…can’t forget about the guys!

The Fashion

The back of Leanne’s dress was the perfect mix of timeless and fashion forward.

The veil was where the details really shined. In addition, can we take a second to admire how stunning the bridesmaids (& their dresses) are?

A pop of color that adds to the color story was a great decision on the brides part. In addition, this color looks stunning in the bridal suite! If you look closely, you’ll see the wedding bands and engagement ring.
Michael went classy with a timeless Navy suit.

First Look

Sugarplum & Co. always recommends doing a first look. The couple decided to write letters to one another and then had an intimate and private first look before the day began. It is always a very special moment for Leanne and Michael captured by @madisonrylee.

Ebell Long Beach has a separate room upstairs – right next door to the bridal suite. This is the perfect setting for first looks. Great lighting with big windows, private, and has a clean aesthetic.

Ceremony

Leanne and Michael decided to pot a plant together during the ceremony.
We love when couples add unique twists and ideas that match them as a couple.

Reception

To enhance the modernized Spanish-Revival architecture, Leanne and Michael went with a stunning color story for their reception. The choice could not have been more perfect. The California style was also brought to life with fun pops of pampas and an eye catching neon sign.

Ebell Long Beach actually has in house catering.
They are AMAZING. If you work with this venue, you will be so happy with the food selection and the quality of the service.
We always love a neon sign moment! Adds interest to your decor (and if it’s custom you get to keep it!).

Dancing

We always love to see our bridal party and couples having a great time at their reception. Thanks to @rayonthemic – we can always count on the crowd having great vibes!
